IOSH Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams.
IOSH Directing Safely course aims to ensure that people at the most senior levels appreciate health and safety. It is intended for people with strategic responsibility for determining and implementing effective health and safety management within an organisation.
IOSH Working Safely is a one-day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory / managerial responsibility. It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ and this course offers exactly that.
To enable delegates to ensure that safety issues are managed efficiently, protecting the workforce, other people and the general environment and will ensure that legal compliance is achieved.
The course content includes, health and safety legislation, understanding why accidents occur, communication relating to health and safety, common hazards and controlling risk. To include:
